Harley-Davidson Performance Eyewear by Wiley X is a licensed eyewear with structural integrity and performance features to be designated for On-The-Bike-Use.
D.O.T. LEVEL PROTECTION FOR YOUR EYES
All of the H-D eyewear series feature Shatterproof Selenite lenses. These lenses meet ANSI Z87.1 safety standards for high-velocity/high mass impact and optical clarity. To ensure that all of the lenses meet these standards, they must withstand an impact from a .25" diameter steel ball traveling at 150FPS, and an impact from a 1.1lbs. steel projectile dropped from a height of 50". All of the eyewear is authenticated with safety markings. The WX Z87.1 on the frame and temples and the WX+ on the lens ensure that your eyes will be protected from unexpected impacts.
All Wiley X lenses block 100% of the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays (up to 400 nanometers).
